Dear Valley Community Church,

It is with a sad heart we will be delaying our reopening due to total staff exposure to Covid. Your safety is of highest priority, so we have decided to postpone our in person services to the 17th of January. As the staff quarantines, we thank you for your understanding and sincere prayers. For this weekend, January 10th, you may still access our regular online service at  10:00 am.

We also would like to address the events that took place yesterday in our nation. God is still on the throne, His promises are still rich towards His church, and He is and always will be the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrew 13:8). We invite you to pray earnestly for our nation as we, His Bride, are first and foremost citizens of Heaven (Philippians 3:20) and are also charged with praying FOR all men according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4:

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

In times of distress, it is we who carry the very presence of God into the situations of the world and it is we who have the privilege of shaping history through entering into the secret place with Him and proclaiming His Word over all. Let the Church rise up!

We love you and are eager to safely be with you all again soon!

Valley Community Church will officially re-open for indoor services on Sunday, January 10th, 2021! Thanks to the recent Supreme Court ruling, churches across the nation will be open for believers to gather and worship together. We will have one service at 10:00 a.m. where you may attend church in-person or view it from your home via livestream. If you choose to attend the service in person, we ask the following:

1. Masks must be worn at all times while on campus.

2. Households must sit together 6 feet apart from the next household.

3. Please follow entrance/exit directions while on campus.

Hand sanitizer will be available on campus if you attend in person. If you or any member of your household has been sick or feverish, please stay home and attend the livestream service. Kingdom Kids (for ages 4-11) will be available during the service, however, please note that the nursery will not be available. Any young children are welcome to attend the church service in the sanctuary with their family.

We are so excited to be with you...in person...in His presence!

November 22, 2020

Dear Valley Community Church,

Every day I think about you and pray for you from the depths of my heart.  Yes, 2020 has been a year where fear could overwhelm you.  You and I have faced challenges – from the pandemic to a presidential race like none other.  As you are a very spiritual people, I know you have recognized the move of God and a counter-attack of the enemy.  We have seen civil unrest and racial tension.  Many people are anxious and fearful of their future and what it will be.  As your pastor, and spiritual father to sons and daughters around the world, I say, “Fear not.”

You must know God is in control and His authority will bring His plans to pass.  He is also faithful to you personally and He does work things out for good because “He is good.”  You and I have been prayer warriors.  You and I believe in prophecy and the prophetic word.  Do not get caught up in false proclamations on television, blogs, and office conversations.  Get caught up in what Jesus, the living Word, has said.  Stay anchored in scripture, do not be offended, and trust the prophets of the day.

As you pray, I was on a conference call led by Gateway Church.  Pastor Robert Morris detailed what we should pray!  I have added a little.

  • Pray for our leaders, elected officials, and judges that they walk in integrity and do what is right.
  • Pray for the truth to be revealed and for righteousness to be exalted in our nation.
  • Pray for vaccines and treatment for COVID-19, but always proclaim Jesus is our Healer and Protector.
  • Pray for all law enforcement and for wisdom that “God’s justice” would overwhelm “Man’s justice” – bringing our Constitution into the forefront with all men knowing that we were created by God – equal.
  • Last but not least, pray the blessings of God over VCC and every believer. Come against spiritual wickedness using the authority given by God.

May I encourage you to walk in love and grace.  Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Teri and I believe in you and we believe God has His hand on the United States of America.  Why?  Because He placed you here for such a time as this and has equipped you with your giftings – so flourish!

In His Grace,

Pastor
